It's going to be a blog about my daily stuff. Music i listen to, the game i play and mostly about FOOD. Food i: eat, i want to eat, i cant't eat, i'm going to eat or food i've just made.
Food is, after my girlfriend ;), my greatest love. I love to eat and cook, watch TV shows about cooking, eating and travels & eating. My favourites are Anthony Bourdain's, Gary Rhodes's and Andrew Zimmern's shows. Unfortunately for my passion for food and mentioned shows i live in Poland. Country so conservative, when it comes to well... anything... from race to food, it won't let, anything new or foreign or simply too hard to be undertood, by common man, inside our borders. I don't want to say that we all here fear new things, but majority of our society is just plain dumb, uneducated morons whos greatest goal is to eat, fuck, sleep, ride 20 years old BMW and get wasted on daily basis... I'd like to try new things, tastes, smells, aromas, textures but it's so damn hard here. Starting from buying equipment needed to be able too cook properly, ending buying ingredients which, usually, are not available or simply so expensive that you could feed half of my city just for the price they want me to pay for things such as fresh shrimps, scallops, or rice other then simpliest cheapest and most tasteless shit i've ever tried... I need to move away or start earning tons of money to eat something else then usual polish cuisine. Which is not bad at all, but after almost 21 years of living here and eating our national dishes, i'm tired and bored and willing to try NEW! For almost a year now i've been making sushi. How it started and how it is now i'll tell you soon
